Using an integrative approach based on humanistic and somatic styles, I will work with you to address trauma triggers, regain identity and access your true self. I specialize in working with persons engaged in 12 step programs and those struggling with or affected by addictions, particularly Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families.
We will collaborate to set reachable goals. I will be with you through the process by holding a safe space and bearing witness as you navigate insights and the depths of feelings as they emerge, helping you balance your strengths and resilience. Together, we will venture into whatever light or darkness your soul needs for you to become more fully energized as your true self.
I look forward to walking with you through the steps of your journey. My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and support you in moving forward to where you want to be in your life. Together, we might access dreams, expressive arts, metaphor, movement, mythology, and mindfulness as we journey together through your process.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, I will help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. I can help you overcome these symptoms and be with you through the process of grief and healing.
Relationship counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions are held with both couples and is a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationship.
